Hoc Staffing Committee
to Make Recommendations
This group is working hard for us to design a new staff configuration for the presbytery. Their work is prescribed and shaped by the New Mission Design for the Presbytery (aka the Odyssey Report).
The committee is moderated by Presbytery Vice Moderator/Moderator Elect Marie Crenshaw. Marie is an elder and the Director of Senior Ministries at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Los Alamitos. She also has a professional background in Human Resources.
The group has felt blessed with an abundance and diversity of strong gifts for this work. They do appreciate our prayers. They will bring a report to the August 25 council meeting and it will be presented to the presbytery at the September 17 meeting. The new staffing plan is to begin implementation at the start of 2010. This is an exciting, promising, and extremely important work as our presbytery continues to learn and be reformed.
